The Bills snapped a three-game losing streak to win their final game against the New York Jets, 28-9 on Sunday. With this game, the Bills also snapped a six-game losing streak to the Jets.

Stevie Johnson had quite the day

Game highlights:

Safety Brian Scott scored on a 20 yard interception return, leading a defense that forced two turnovers and held the Jets to just three field goals.

Stevie Johnson finished with 111 yards receiving and became the first Bills player to surpass 1,000 yards in three straight seasons.

C.J. Spiller couldn’t be stopped and rushed for 59 yards, including a 69-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter.

Other touchdowns were scored by Brad Smith on a 4-yard run and Tashard Choice on a 13-yard run.

QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was 12 of 26 with 225 yards and a touchdown. No, I will not mention Tim Tebow here (oops, just did).

But on the other hand, Bills kicker Rian Lindell missed two field goals. And high-priced defensive end Mario Williams, who was supposed to help turn the Bills around, was largely silent, as he was in most games this season.

Perhaps the nicest part of the game for the Bills was the WWFD stickers on each player’s helmet, honoring two West Webster firemen who were shot while responding to a fire in Rochester, NY this week.

Buffalo finished the season with a record of 6-10, the same as last year. The finished last in the division for the 5th straight season, and haven’t been to the playoffs in 13 yards, putting coach Chan Gailey’s job in jeopardy.
